The paintings, sculpture, kiln glass, assemblage, collage and monoprints in the new show at ViVO Contemporary Gallery were created during moments when the artists were vitally engaged in their work, during a conversation between the artist and the image or object being created, the result of a process of discovery through making. However, the artist never knows how it will complete itself until both the creation and the creator are in sync, allowing the “hidden message” to be revealed.
