This 12" X 16" archival Giclee Print on Velvet Fine Art Paper is from an original figurative oil painting that was inspired by the view from my hotel balcony in Paris at the bicyclists below. This piece depicts a couple of Tour de France competitors cycling on the streets of Paris in the rain. The motion of the bicyclists is rendered in my signature Pixel Impressionistic style of figure painting which not only create a richly textured, gestural painting, but also convey the immediacy of the moment and my passion for the subject. The original sold some time ago, but I decided to create a Fine Art Print of this popular beach cityscape using 6-color HD inks and Velvet Fine Art Paper, resulting in a rich print on one of the finest papers that will last over 100 years without fading.
