This medium-sized figurative oil painting on canvas is a recent work from my award-winning series, Overview. This contemporary art was inspired by the view from my balcony at the Hotel Lutetia on St. Germain in Paris. Then, I painted the foreshortened overhead figure with my "Pixel Expressionism" brush strokes, describing the movement of the figure in the digital video reference with thick, Expressionist marks.
